Logan graduated from Priceville High School in 2008. He then attended The University of Alabama where he cheered on the Tide to three national and SEC championships and was heavily involved in campus life. He was the Vice-President and a re-founding member of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, a Resident Advisory, a member of the Student Alumni Association, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society among numerous other honor societies. He also spent two summers in the mountains of Kentucky serving the people of Appalachia while he was on staff with the Appalachia Service Project. Logan graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0.
After graduation, Logan attended The University of Alabama School of Law. He was a Junior Editor and Research and Acquisitions Editor of the Alabama Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law Review. He was selected for the Order of Samaritan. Logan not only studied the law at Alabama, he practiced it. During the summers he spent his time in general counsel's offices, district attorney's offices, law offices, and even a federal judge's chambers. He graduated in May 2015 and sat for the Alabama bar exam that July, which he passed. Logan also took and passed the Tennessee bar the next summer.
Logan recently married his high-school sweetheart. They plan to make a home and raise a family in Decatur.
